How Much Storage Do You Really Need?
Archived Webcast Available for Download for Webcast Subscription Members
Water
systems use storage for operations, fire, emergencies, and more.
Providing the right amount of storage can be a challenge. Too much
storage can lead to water quality problems and too little storage can
lead to supply or pressure problems. This webcast will present
different approaches to this complex but important issue. Topics
covered will include:
- Historical Storage Formulas
- Types of Storage
- Operational Issues and Storage
- Water Quality Issues and Storage
- Benefits and Limitations of a Model to Identify Storage Needs
- Effective and Ineffective Storage Use
- The Bottom Line
